Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed Deep Pore Detox Mask ♡

I bought this face mask a little while ago when Boots were hosting an offer on all of the Soap & Glory skincare range. I had never tried any of their skincare products before, but as I love so many of their other products, I thought it was worth giving it a go.

One of the main features of this product is the prospect of the mask being 'self heating.' Personally, I love this  effect as it begins heating up as soon as it is applied to the skin, which feels so soothing and relaxing, not uncomfortable and worrying as I first presumed it would. However, i'm really not keen on the smell at all, I just have to try and ignore it while applying the product. Don't let this put you off trying this mask though, as that is a purely personal opinion and I know so many people that love this smell!

The mask also promises to get rid of blackheads using 'poreclear technology.' I am so prone to blackheads so this promise drew me to the product straight away. I haven't really seen much of a change to the amount of blackheads on my skin, however my skin always feels really clean and soft after washing this product off, which I really like.

Overall, I like the clean feeling that this product gives to my skin, however I don't think I will be repurchasing as I would prefer a mask that actually helped get rid of blackheads!

Can you recommend any face masks/products for blackhead prone skin? I'd love to hear them!

What are your favourite face masks? Please let me know in the comments!

What's In My Travel Make-up Bag? | Summer Edition ♡

Firstly, i'm so sorry for the lack of posts recently, but i've recently been sitting my GCSE's; however i've only got one exam left now so the end is near! I can't wait to fully finish as i'll have so much time for things I enjoy, especially spending more time on my blog.

As it is getting further into the Summer months, I have been starting to switch to lighter, brighter products as opposed to the seemingly heavier and darker products I have been using throughout Winter. So, these are the top products featured in my travel make-up bag recently...

MAC Blusher - Peachykeen

I have actually mentioned this blusher on my blog before (you can find the post here). I especially love this blusher in the summer as it is so bright and a lot more pink than blushers I would usually wear. The tiny flecks of glitter make your skin look radiant and glowing, and with the help of my trusty Real Techniques Buffing Brush, I love using this blusher to achieve a beautiful natural glow to the cheeks.

MUA Eyeliner - Snow White

I have been using this eyeliner for such a long time, it's probably about time I bought a new one to be honest! I use this on my waterline to make my eyes look much wider and more awake. The sharpener on the lid is the most useful addition ever, especially when travelling! Another great thing about this product is that it is so inexpensive, I think it was only about £1!

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Foundation

I have also mentioned this product before, you can find this post here. I feel like I have mentioned this foundation so many times, but it's so luxurious and makes my skin appear so healthy and radiant; I love it! It's a really lovely foundation for summer because it's quite light on the skin so it doesn't feel at all 'caked' or heavy, which is always the worst on hot days. On days where I am in need of a bit more coverage, I like to mix this with a bit of Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation, another one of my favourites.

ELF Mineral Booster

I've had this product for quite a while, and i'm pretty sure i've used it nearly every day since I got it, meaning i'm beginning to run out of it now. :(
I love this as it acts as a loose mineral powder, mattifying my skin and really setting my make up into place. I have used this in both Winter and Summer, so it's such a universal product. Plus, I think it was only around £8 so it was way worth the money!

So, they're the items currently in my Summer travel make-up bag.
Do you have any summer related products that you think I should try? Please let me know in the comments!
